Music Director: Willard Cottrell

Children’s Choir: Britt Kaufmann, Alice Cottrell

Adult Choir –

The choir provides music at the 10:30 worship service on Sunday mornings. The choir sings a wide range of choral anthems, traditional and contemporary hymns, and shape note selections. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. The choir sings every 1st and 3rd Sunday with a rehearsal before at 10am. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to join with no audition needed. Come and make a joyful noise with us!

Handbell Choir –

The handbell choir features 12 ringers who provide special music throughout the year. If you are looking for a great way to get involved at FPB, then this is the group for you. There is no experience needed just a willingness to learn and have fun. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:15 until 8:15 during the school year (September through May). Please contact Sharyn Dunn if you would like to join our handbell choir.

Children’s Choir –

The Children’s choir meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year (September through May) from 5:50 until 6:15 and is an integral part of evening programs for the entire family. Children from kindergarten to 5th grade enjoy singing and learning songs to enhance our worship on Sunday mornings. Children are also taught basic singing and theory skills. Please contact Britt Kaufmann or Willard Cottrell if you have any questions.

Instruments –

First Presbyterian is very blessed to have a two manual Moller pipe organ and a Steinway grand piano that help enhance our worship experience each Sunday. We also have three octaves of Schulmerich handbells and two octaves of Mallmark Hand Chimes.
