Here at First Presbyterian we embrace all the talents that God has given us. We have many talented individuals who help enhance our worship experience. If you are interested in playing an instrument or providing a solo please contact Derrick Everhart. Read more about our robust program here. more »

MISSIONS
Our Missions Committe is one of our most active parts of our church. more »

SMALL GROUPS
At FPC of Burnsville, we believe that it is very important to have many smaller groups where people can meet face to face, create caring relationships and carry out the special mission they feel called to do. These groups may range from bible or topical studies to a knitting group. We stand ready to form new groups when like minded people feel they need to connect on a regular basis. Please let Pastor Bill or one of the Elders know if there is a group you are interested in starting. more »

MIDDLE AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
Our youth make up a growing and important part of our church. Under the direction of Lanny and Allyson Heidenfelder, the kids are kept engaged at meetings with activities and lessons. Dinner is served first, and then projects like the Crop Walk, a CROSS mission trip to Charlotte or a fall trip to a Corn Maze are discussed and planned. more »

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
As the song we sing every Sunday in church after Children's Time goes, "This... This is where children belong. Welcomed as part of the worshipping throng..." , our children are our treasure. It was not too long ago when there were no children at FPC Burnsville, so today we truly do appreciate our young families and spend time and energy in keeping them included and active with several programs. more »

WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
The women of our church are involved in many different minstries, from knitting prayer shawls to bible study groups. The Presbyterian women's group meets monthly and schedules regular retreats. more »

MEN'S MINISTRIES
The men of our church are active in the many committees which keep FPC Burnsville going. From Stewardship to Buildings and Grounds, many hours are spent in the daily upkeep, as well as improving the spiritual health of our church. We also organize times to help those in the congregation needing chores done, like cutting and stacking firewood. Our special time to get together once a month is the Men's Breakfast, where we dine together for breakfast, have a devotional and then a different program each month. Ask about "The Men's Breakfast Blues", an original blues song we created under the superb direction of Scott Pulver... more »

NEWCOMERS
You may have noticed our "motto" written above below our name, "Where All Are Welcome". Our visitors may be summer residents looking for a church or folks who have just moved to this area. Whatever brings you to our church family, we want to make you feel welcome and to want to come back. We are a diverse group ourselves, and perhaps that's what makes us open and welcoming. We do hope that you will come visit us. Oh yes, and don't forget to stay after church for snacks and fellowship so that we can get you know you and vice versa. more »
